GRENADIER will take place in the “Gästehaus Heimbach” in Hergarten. Hergarten is a little town in the German part of the Eifel. It is 10 Km to Zülpich and around 40 Km to Cologne. There is a railway station in Heimbach which is the neighboor town and you can reach Heimbach from Cologne by train. Look here for more detailled informations about connections between Cologne (Hbf) and Heimbach (Eifel). From Heimbach you need to take a taxi to Hergarten which is about 6 Kilometers. You can call a taxi under the number 0049(0)2446 809977. There may be even a "Bürgerbus" which is a transport of the village of Heimbach which is always available when a train arrives. If coming by car from the west (France, Belgium) you best take the Highway in direction Aachen. From Aachen you take the Highway A4 towards Cologne. Leave the Highway A4 at exit Kerpen-Buir and head for the Bundesstraße B477. Take this road until you come to the junction with Bundesstraße B265. Follow B265 in direction Schleiden. The B265 runs straight through Hergarten.

If coming by car from the south you should take the Highway A61 and drive until Autobahnkreuz Bliesheim. Here you change on the Highway A1 in direction Euskirchen\Trier. Take the exit “Euskirchen” and head in direction Zülpich. In Zülpich you must take the B265 in direction Schleiden. The B265 runs straight through Hergarten.

The “Gästehaus” has two playing rooms and another room which will be used for eating. The “Gästehaus” offers a lot of two- and three-bed  rooms, which are very comfortable and all of them have a seperate room with shower\WC. For an increased fee of 6,50 € per day you can even rent a single room - if you dislike snorling bed neighboors! You only need a pillow case, a sheet and a bedcover. No sleeping bags please!!!
